§ 22-117. Time of election; notice.

The members of the police department shall elect by ballot three (3) of its members to the board of trustees designated in this article. The city clerk-treasurer shall call the election by mailing a notice, properly addressed, to each and every member of the police department. The notice shall state when the election shall be held, giving both the day and the hour or hours, and where it will be held. The election shall be held three (3) days subsequent to the giving of the notice for the election.
