§ 22-119. Term of members.
The person receiving the highest number of votes shall hold office as a member of the board for a period of three (3) years and until his successor is duly elected and qualified. The person receiving the next highest number of votes shall hold his office for a period of two (2) years and until his successor is duly elected and qualified. The person receiving the third highest number of votes shall hold his office for a period of one (1) year and until his successor is duly elected and qualified. Every year thereafter on a date corresponding to the date of the first election, a like election shall be held at which time a member of the board of trustees shall be elected, who shall hold office for a period of three (3) years and until his successor is duly elected and qualified.
