§ 2-2. Expenses of mayor.

Under the city's charter, the mayor serves as ex officio councilman-at-large, with duties and qualifications as provided in the charter. The mayor shall not receive compensation for services as mayor. The mayor may receive justified expenses for travel and related costs during the mayor's term for travel outside the city's limits. The mayor may receive not to exceed four hundred dollars ($400.00) per month for miscellaneous expenses incurred subject to biannual review.
