§ 6-17. Appointment of members.

The members of the board to be appointed shall be nominated by the mayor and confirmed by the city council. In the event the mayor presents a nomination to the council and the council declines to confirm such nomination, then the mayor shall submit further nominations until the full membership has been confirmed by the council.
