The dilapidated building commission (DBC) is designated as the administrative body
to carry out the duties of the city council as provided for in sections 7-382 and 7-383 of this Code. The dilapidated building commission is comprised of the city manager
or his designee, a member of the Altus City Planning Commission (ACPC), and the planning
director. The planning director is designated as the staff person to perform the duties
of researching the property and sending all required notices. The property owner or
mortgage holder shall have a right of appeal to the city council from any order of
the dilapidated building commission as provided in section 7-381(4) of this division.
