§ 12-63. Collection of charges.

  • (a)

    It shall be the duty of the fire chief to furnish the city clerk with a record of all runs made by the fire department outside the corporate limits of the city, giving the name of the owner or occupant of the property where the service was rendered, the name of the person requesting the service, the applicable service run charge of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) or more. This report shall be furnished to the city clerk within three (3) days after the service is performed.

    (b)

    It shall be the duty of the clerk to bill the charges in accordance herewith to the owner or occupant of the property where the fire-fighting service was furnished.
