§ 12-64. Firemen considered as serving in regular line of duty.

  • All firemen of the fire department attending and serving at fires or doing fire prevention work or rescue, resuscitation, first aid, inspection or any other official work outside the corporate limits of the city as provided for in this article, shall be considered as serving in their regular line of duty as fully as if they were serving within the corporate limits of the city, and such firemen shall be entitled to all the benefits of any firemen's pension and relief fund in the same manner as if the fire fighting or prevention work or rescue, resuscitation, first aid, inspection or any other official work was being done within the corporate limits of the city.
