§ 22-67. Termination of service.

  • Any police officer, as defined in this article, who has served in the police department for a period of more than one continuous year and contributed to the funds of the City of Altus Police Pension and Retirement System for said period and who has served less than twenty (20) years in police departments of cities and towns of the state having a standard equivalent to that required for eligibility under 11 O. S. Supp. 1978, § 50-101 et seq., and whose service is terminated before normal retirement date for any reason other than death or disability, shall be entitled to the return of all contributions actually made by such police officer to the Police Pension and Retirement System of the City of Altus.
