§ 22-66. Deductions from wages.

The city treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to deduct monthly from the salary or wages of each member of the police department an amount equal to four (4) percent of the monthly salary or wages paid to such members of the police department and to deposit the same monthly in the police pension and retirement system of the city.
