§ 22-92. Forfeiture of pension.

  • When any person who shall receive any benefits from the funds of the police pension and retirement system, as provided by this article, shall be convicted of any felony or shall become an habitual drunkard, or shall fail to report for duty unless excused by the board, or shall disobey the requirements of the board made under provisions of this article, then the board of trustees shall order that such pension or allowance as may have been granted to such person shall cease immediately, and such person shall receive no further pension, allowance or benefit as authorized to be paid under this article, unless or until, if possible, such person shall have met the requirements made by the board of trustees.
