§ 22-140. Deductions from wages.

The city clerk-treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to deduct monthly from the salary or wages of each member of the fire department an amount equal to four (4) percent of the monthly salary or wages paid to such member of the fire department and to deposit the same monthly in the firemen's relief and pension fund of the city.
