§ 2-124. Duties of city attorney.

  • The city attorney shall be the chief legal adviser of the council, all officers, departments and agencies of the city government in matters relating to their official powers and duties. He shall represent the city in proceedings in the courts. He shall perform all services incident to his position which may be required by law or ordinances.
